In relation to the personal data we collect, Best European Employers d.o.o. is the "controller of personal data", i.e. the entity that determines the purpose and manner of processing the data.

We collect your personal data when relevant and for the purposes of our joint business and cooperation. We usually receive your personal data directly from you when you fill in the contact form or when we collect information through electronic communication.

You will always receive clear information about the purpose of processing your data, and in some cases we will need your clear consent.

All your personal data will be treated confidentially and Best European Employers and/or our partners will store it correctly.

The usual groups of data that we collect from visitors to our website are the data that is requested when filling out the contact form or when communicating with us by telephone or e-mail: First name, last name, e-mail address, telephone number, date of birth, nationality, occupation.

• In relation to the engagement and use of the services provided by the company
• To comply with legal and regulatory requirements within and outside the territory of the Republic of Croatia

We store the personal data we collect about you in a secure environment. Your personal data is protected from unauthorized access, disclosure, use, alteration or destruction by organizations or individuals. The processed data is stored in the premises and IT systems and on the servers of our employees.

The protection of your privacy is very important to Best Europan Employers, therefore we will never share your personal data with third parties for any purpose not described in this policy. Best Europan Employers may only share your personal data with third parties in the following cases:

• Fulfillment of contractual obligations when entering into an employment relationship with a partner company
• if there is a legal obligation or an explicit authorization by law

We store personal data for the entire duration of the contractual relationship and for as long as we need it to provide services and as required by our legal obligations.

Best European Employers respects the right to the protection of personal data. The company only collects and processes personal data where there are legitimate grounds for processing, and users and partners retain certain rights in relation to the processing of their data at all times.

Users and partners have the following rights:

Right to erasure - each data subject shall have the right granted by the European legislator to obtain from the controller the erasure of personal data concerning him or her without undue delay, and Best European Employers shall have the obligation to erase personal data without undue delay where one of the following grounds applies:

• Personal data are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected
• The user or partner withdraws the consent on which the processing is based and there is no other legal basis for the processing
• the user or partner objects to the processing and the legitimate grounds for exercising the right to erasure override the legitimate interest of the Group in the processing and/or storage of personal data
• the personal data have been processed unlawfully
• personal data must be erased in order to comply with a legal obligation

Right of access to data - the user or partner has the right to obtain information from Best European Employers about the processing of their data, access to personal data and the purpose of the processing, the categories of data, the potential recipients to whom the personal data will be disclosed, etc.

Right to rectification - each data subject shall have the right granted by the European legislator to obtain from the controller without undue delay the rectification of inaccurate personal data concerning him or her. Taking into account the purposes of the processing, the user or partner has the right to have incomplete personal data completed, including by means of providing a supplementary statement.

Right to data portability - the user or partner has the right to receive the personal data relating to them that is held by Best European Employers. The data should be in a machine-readable format and there is a right to transfer this data to another controller. It should be noted that the right to transfer relates exclusively to the personal data of the data subject.

Right to object - every data subject has the right granted by the European legislator to object, on grounds relating to his or her particular situation, at any time to processing of personal data concerning him or her. In the event of an objection, we will no longer process the personal data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override the interests, rights and freedoms of the data subject or for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims.

Right to restriction of processing - the user or partner has the right to request Best European Employers to restrict processing if he or she contests the accuracy of the personal data, if he or she considers that the processing is unlawful and opposes the erasure of the personal data and requests the restriction of their use instead, and if the user or partner has objected to the processing and requests confirmation as to whether the legitimate grounds of the controller override those of the user or partner.
